Printing from Windows ME, 98 and 95


Effective June 2006 Bethel ITS no longer supports Windows ME, 98, or 95


You need to be logged into your computer. You've done this if you were prompted to "Enter Your Network Password" when you started your computer.

Note: Not all of the dialogue boxes displayed in these instructions will necessarily match your version of Windows. The printer set-up process may vary slightly for you, but will essentially be the same.

  1. Go to the Start menu and select Run


  2. In the field next to Open type: \\spooler
    Spooler


  3. In the window that appears find the printer named after your building.
    Select Printer


  4. Double-click on the printer for your building. Click on the "Yes" button in the window that appears.
    Click Yes


  5. In the "Add Printer Wizard" window that appears click the "Next" button.
    Click Next


  6. In the next window that appears, name the printer after your building. Click the "Next" button.
    Name it after your building


  7. In the next window that appears, click on the "Finish" button.
    Click Finish


This completes the printer set-up process. If you have any questions or need assistance please call the Help Desk at x6500.
