Instructions on how to add menu links to your Course Home menu in Blackboard:
NOTE: Do NOT remove the Announcements, Communications, Tools, or Faculty/Staff Information items or you will lose course functionality and will not be able to add other important items to your menu. You can make these "unavailable" but they should not be removed.
| Step 1. Go to the Control Panel |
| Step 2. In the Course Options area of the Control Panel, select Manage Course Menu |
| Step 3. In the Manage Course Menu page, you have the option to add links to your course menu from: |
| Content Area - Adds a link to one of the Content Areas already existing in your Blackboard Course |
Tool Link - Adds a link in your menu to a Tool Area:
| Course Link - A link to any other area or any document in your Blackboard course. |
| When you click the Browse button, a small window pops up and you can select (click on the folders (+) to see what is in the folders) from any document in your Blackboard site and thus add a direct link to your course menu. |
