how to become wireless
This article is no
longer maintained because how students connect to the wireless network
has changed. In
particular the OS versions prior to Macintosh OSX 10.3.9 and Microsoft
Windows XP do not contain support for
802.1x, which is the authentication and encryption method that is used
on Bethel's network. However, the instructions for
connecting are still below for those who wish to view them but ITS does
not guarantee that they will work nor will we support it if there are
issues. For the latest network configuration information please see
KB298.
Here you can find all the information you need to get your computer
connected to the wireless network at Bethel College. Currently there is
wireless coverage at North Village, Bethel College Library, Bethel
Seminary Library and the
Market dining area. If you live in North Village, wireless is the ONLY
option to connect to the Bethel Network and the Internet.
