Blackboard Course Availability

Making your Course Available in Blackboard

Course availability is denoted in your "My Courses" list in Blackboard.  If you see (unavailable) after any course in your list, then you need to make your course available for your students to be able to access the course materials in Blackboard.

1. Go to the Control Panel control panel image for your course in Blackboard.

2. Select the link for "Settings" in the Control Panel. Settings image

 

3. On the Settings page select the "Course Availability" link.Settings menu image

On the Course Availability page, check the "Yes" box to make the course available and then at the end of the semester come back and check the "No" box to make the course unavailable to your students.  You as the instructor will still be able to fully access your unavailable courses.
