TurningPoint Software

TurningPoint software is a PowerPoint add in that works with a set of 50 "RF Response Cards" available for checkout by Faculty/Staff ONLY from the Information Commons in the Bethel University Library. Response Cards are given to students and an interactive slide is added to PowerPoint and data on the question is collated from the students and immediately displayed on the screen in PowerPoint.

In PowerPoint all that is done is to add a TurningPoint Menu to PowerPoint. No other functionality of PowerPoint is changed. You may install turning point on your office computer using the install CD in the Turning Point kit or you may request ITS to install it for you.  You must request installation in the classroom in which you teach as well. Contact ITS or your Faculty Consultant for this installation.

When TurningPoint 2006 is run for the first time a message box may appear prompting you to activate the software.

1. Choose your method of activation as "Over the web" and select Next

2. Choose “I want to evaluate TurningPoint” and click Next

**Note** You can activate as many computers as needed into Evaluation Mode. The license code that is stored on your receiver/license dongle will override the Evaluation Mode code whenever it is plugged in, giving you access to your full license capacity.

3. Input your user information and click Next

4. Click Finish to finalize the activation
