Configuring Outlook 2002 for Bethel IMAP

To Configure Outlook 2002 for Bethel IMAP:

• From the main menu in Outlook 2002, select Tools and then E-Mail Accounts... from the drop down menu.
• Click the radio button for Add a new email account and then click Next.
• Click the radio button for IMAP and then click Next
• Type in your name in the Your Name: field and your Bethel email address in the E-mail Address:
• In the Incoming mail server field, type imap.bethel.edu
• In the Outgoing mail server field, type smtp.bethel.edu
• Outlook tries to guess your user name from your email address, so make sure your user name is entered correctly in the User Name: field
• If you want Outlook to remember your password, type your password and then click Next. If not, just click Next.
• Click Finish.
